The Henry Pratt Company designs, develops, manufactures and markets butterfly, rectangular, ball, nuclear, industrial, cone, sleeve and energy dissipating valves as well as valve actuators, and control systems. Our products are used in potable water, wastewater, power, industrial and nuclear markets.

Founded in 1901 by a small group of industrialists as a metal fabricating shop, the Henry Pratt Company entered the valve industry in 1926 with design/development of the first rubber seated butterfly valve. Growth of the Company over the past years has been closely associated with the growth of the rubber seat butterfly valve being supplied to the markets identified. Administrative headquarters are located in Aurora, Illinois with manufacturing facilities at Aurora and Dixon, Illinois and Hammond, Indiana.

The Aurora Plant is Pratt's headquarters providing Administration, Engineering and Manufacturing. Pratt manufactures rubber seated butterfly valves ranging in size from 3" through 20" in this facility. This plant inventories small diameter butterfly valves and spare parts in order to meet your tight deadlines.

Dixon, Illinois

Dixon, Illinois
The Dixon Plant specializes in manufacturing large diameter and specialty valves. While maintaining inventory to service your quick delivery requirements, this plant operates in a job shop environment to meet very individualized customer needs. Large diameter rubber seated butterfly valves, eccentric plug valves, rubber seated and metal seated ball valves are produced in this location.

The Hammond Plant has over 35 years of experience in valve repair. We pride ourselves on the ability to meet even the tightest customer deadlines.
